There are several ways you can print a PowerPoint presentation. The default option – one huge slide per piece of paper – is almost never necessary and wastes paper and toner/ink.Instead, choose a layout that prints multiple slides per page. Some options also give you space for notes to the right of each slide.
Setting these options are part of the print process, as follows:
Click the Windows button at the upper left
Click Print (Do not select a sub-option.)The print menu will appear.
Under the section Print what:at the lower left, use the drop-down menu to select handouts, as shown to the right.
The Handouts section to the right will be bolded.Select how many slides per page (e.g. 2, 3, 4, 6, 9).The display at the right will change to show you what the layout will look like.
Below “Print what:” is a box for Color options. If you’d like to save color toner or you don’t have a color printer, you can select the grayscale option.
If you only want specific slides to print, you can change options in the Print range section to include those slides by number.
Make sure to select the appropriate printer, at the top.You may also want to click the Properties button next to the printer name to turn on or off duplexing, stapling, etc.
When finished selecting options, click OK.Printing should begin, although some delay may occur as the print job is organized on the page.
