To use VISION software for your class:

Vision is a classroom management program capable of controlling the displays of each computer in Straz B-12.  It is installed only on the Instructor’s computer.  The software will run when you sign in to the computer.

Connect the Classroom

1. Move the cursor toward the top of the screen until the VISION toolbar drops down.
   
   
2. Click on the Connect Classroom icon once.
   1. This step will turn on any computer that is not already on.
   2. If the icon greyed out, the classroom is already connected.

To blank out all screens

1. From the VISION toolbar, click once on the Blank Screen icon
   
   
   
2. To stop this mode, click on the Stop sign in the toolbar.

1. Click on the Demo icon on the VISION toolbar
   
   
   
2. To stop this mode, click on the Stop sign in the toolbar.

To shutoff all computers (after a night class, for example)

1. Click on the Shutdown icon on the VISION toolbar
   
   

2. You will get a menu offering to restart the classroom, or shutdown the classroom.
3. Be careful not to turn off computers in use by students.
