Using Vision Software in Straz B12
To use VISION software for your class:
Vision is a classroom management program capable of controlling the displays of each computer in Straz B-12. It is installed only on the Instructor’s computer. The software will run when you sign in to the computer.
Connect the Classroom
- Move the cursor toward the top of the screen until the VISION toolbar drops down.

- Click on the Connect Classroom icon once.
- This step will turn on any computer that is not already on.
- If the icon greyed out, the classroom is already connected.
To blank out all screens
- From the VISION toolbar, click once on the Blank Screen icon

- To stop this mode, click on the Stop sign in the toolbar.
To show the Instructor’s screen to everyone
- Click on the Demo icon on the VISION toolbar

- To stop this mode, click on the Stop sign in the toolbar.
To shutoff all computers (after a night class, for example)
- Click on the Shutdown icon on the VISION toolbar

- You will get a menu offering to restart the classroom, or shutdown the classroom.
- Be careful not to turn off computers in use by students.
