No computer image in classroom

No Computer Image:

  1. Check the instructions for your room at http://www.carthage.edu/library/media/classroom-technology to determine that you have followed the proper procedure for connecting your computer.
  2. If you have followed the directions and the computer is still not projecting after being properly connected, press Fn and F7 at the same time.  Please note: the Fn and F7 button combination only works for Lenovo Thinkpad laptops.  Other laptops will have a Fn combination that works, but it may differ from brand to brand:

IBM/Lenovo = Fn and F7

Dell = Fn and F8

Toshiba = Fn and F5

Gateway = Fn and F4

         3.  If your computer is still not projecting, refer the issue to Media Services. Please surf to Request Tracker  (help.carthage.edu) and “Create a New Ticket in Media”,                               explaining  the problem you have encountered.
