Changing the time zone in Google Calendar

This article addresses the need to change the time zone in your Google Calendar.  For normal operation at Carthage, it should be set to (GMT -06:00 Central).

1. Go to your Google Calendar
2. Click the Settings link at the upper right (looks like a gear or a blue flower)
3. Click Calendar settings from the drop-down
4. The third item down on the screen is "Your current time zone"  Make sure it shows (GMT -06:00 Central)  If it isn't, correct it.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the screen
