To install Solver and/or Analysis Toolpack in Microsoft Excel:You must use the Add-ins page in Excel Options dialog box to add it.
Steps:
- Start Excel.
- Click on Office button in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Click on the Excel Options button.
- Click on the Add-Ins entry on the left side of the dialog box.
- Click on the GO button.
- Click on the Analysis Toolpack and the Solver Add-in checkboxes. Click on OK.
The new add-ins will appear under the Data tab of the Excel 'ribbon' menu.
