How to connect your computer to make a presentation in

Clausen Center 207 – Troha Boardroom

 

 

1. Connect the yellow VGA cable (in the flip-up well closest to the Plasma screen) to your computer.



2. Power and wired network connections are available in all of the wells.  Wireless networking is also available.



3. Start your computer and make sure it is set to display on an external monitor



4. “Wake up” the system by touching the touch panel.



5. Touch the touch panel again To Begin.



6. Power On  the system by touching the on screen button.



7. Wait for several status messages to display on the touch panel while the system starts.




8. Touch the screen Presentation Mode button.





9. Touch the Laptop on screen button.




10. Your image should now be displayed on the Plasma Screen.



11. If you have sound, control it by pressing the main button on the bottom of the screen. At the bottom there is a bar that adjusts the sound with arrows on the left/right.


12. To turn the system off, select the Power button at the bottom right side of the touch screen.



13. Touch the Power Off on screen button.


14. Several messages will appear on the touch screen as the system turns itself off.


15. Disconnect your computer and return the cables to the inside of the well.
